Apel w sprawie uchodźców w Usnarzu
Komitet Obrony Demokracji wystosował dziś następujący apel o pomoc do:

Szanowni Państwo,
jako największa organizacja obywatelska w Polsce, zwracamy się do Was po raz pierwszy, bowiem tym razem jesteśmy bezradni wobec działań naszego rządu, które narażają na utratę życia 32 obywateli – uchodźców z Afganistanu koczujących od trzech tygodni na polsko – białoruskiej granicy. Ci ludzie pozbawieni są dostępu do jedzenia, wody, leków i pomocy medycznej. Są w stanie skrajnego wyczerpania, a dostępu do nich bronią zorganizowane oddziały polskiego wojska i policji, nie dopuszczając pomocy humanitarnej. Tyko Wasza zdecydowana reakcja i pomoc może uratować ich życie.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
As the largest civic organization in Poland, we are addressing you for the first time, because this time we are powerless against the actions of our government, which are putting at risk the lives of 32 citizens – refugees from Afghanistan who have been camping for three weeks on the Polish-Belarusian border. These people have no access to food, water, medicines or medical aid. They are in a state of extreme exhaustion, and access to them is being blocked by organised units of the polish army and police, who are not allowing humanitarian aid. Only your strong response and support can save their lives.

Meine Damen und Herren,
Als größte zivilgesellschaftliche Organisation in Polen wenden wir uns zum ersten Mal an Sie, denn diesmal stehen wir dem Vorgehen unserer Regierung hilflos gegenüber, die das Leben von 32 Bürgern – Flüchtlingen aus Afghanistan, die seit drei Wochen an der polnisch-weißrussischen Grenze festsitzen – aufs Spiel setzt.
Diese Menschen haben keinen Zugang zu Nahrung, Wasser, Medikamenten oder medizinischer Hilfe.
Sie befinden sich im Zustand extremer Erschöpfung, und der Zugang zu ihnen wird von organisierten Einheiten der Armee und der Polizei blockiert, die keine humanitäre Hilfe zulassen.
Nur Ihre starke Reaktion und Hilfe kann ihr Leben retten.
